St James’ Feast Day is on 25th July. Our St James is St James, the great, and that is why we are a such a great school! St James, the great, was one of the original disciples and that is why our mission statement is ” together we are learning to follow Jesus” because that is exactly what St James did.
One of the last things that we do each academic year is celebrate our patron saint’s feast day with a picnic in the school grounds. We borrowed this idea from our friends at St James’ CofE Primary school in Ashton and what a great idea it is!
