Epiphany

The feast of the Epiphany is celebrated on the 6th of January. Epiphany is a Greek word that means reveal or showing. We remember when the magi, or wise men, visited Jesus symbolising that he was a messiah for the whole world.

We often return from our Christmas holidays on, or before, January 6th just in time to go over to church to celebrate the feast of the Epiphany at the Parish Mass . We love the opportunity to dress up our actors from the carol service and to hear our “singing kings” again.
