SATs

Most years, covid permitted, children take their SATs tests at the beginning of May.

The test usually consist of:

  • A reading comprehension paper
  • A spelling, grammar and punctuation paper
  • Three maths papers

There are no longer writing tests as children’s levels will be determined by teacher assessment of their written work over the whole year.
