Last year’s Year 3: We are very excited to be starting our Forest School sessions. This year, we are being led by Miss Alcock and we know that she has lots of exciting things planned for us to do over the next few weeks. We hope you enjoy seeing what we have been doing each week.
Week 1
Today’s forest school was rather wet and muddy but, as you can see from our photos there was lots of fun and laughter. We made lots of tasty mud snacks in the mud kitchen, built a fantastic den and splashed in lots of puddles.
Week 2
We had a brilliant afternoon, the weather was much better this week. After our games, we did some nature journaling, which gave us the opportunity to sit and notice the world around us. We made willow crosses and bug habitats out of logs and stones. We also started to dismantle the old rotten bug hotel, ready to build a new one.
