Each year during September we have our Harvest Mass. It is a lovely occasion with everybody bringing donations of tins and packages for our local Food Bank. In the photograph you can see some of our donations along with a harvest loaf baked by Nursery and a super scarecrow called Steve, made by Reception! Our Year 6 School Councillors take the food up to the Food Bank, where it is always gratefully received.
The Food Bank is situated at Hattersley Baptist Church and welcomes donations of tins, dried food and UHT milk all year round.
