St James’ Catholic Primary School, Hattersley is carrying out a consultation on the proposed admission arrangements for admission in September 2025.
Admission arrangements are the overall procedure, practices and oversubscription criteria used in deciding the allocation of school places. The consultation is being carried out by the governing body. The proposed admission arrangements are published on St James’ website and can be viewed at www.st-james-hyde.tameside.sch.uk or by contacting Mrs Jacqueline Walker at admin@st-james-hyde.tameside.sch.uk

The consultation opens on 7 December 2023 and closes on 18 January 2024
(Admissions policies have to be consulted upon every 7 years. There have been some changes to the over subscription criteria in this policy. In-Year Applications
An application can be made for a place for any child at any time outside the admissions round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. Application should be made to Tameside MBC by contacting Tameside Admissions Team, Hyde Town Hall, Market Street, Hyde SK14 1AL.
Where there are places available but more applications than places, the published oversubscription criteria in the policies above will be applied.
If there are no places available, the child will be added to the waiting list, also see above.
You will be advised of the outcome of your application in writing, and you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel.
